Trip to Al-ahsaa

We went on a trip to Al-Ahsaa region this weekend and it started well and ended in disaster....we had a kind of mis-understanding...you see we got lost in the Eastern villages and kept going in circles for hours and do we stop to get directions???Nooooooooo,we just kept on going in circles and the weather was really hot,but in the end we managed to find our way out of the maze of small palm-fringed villages,and reached civilisation!!



We really wanted to do some shopping but the shops weren't open and it was already 9:30 AM so I asked to go see the mount of Gara,AlAhsaa's known tourist attraction,and that is where disaster struck!!We took one small wrong turn and ended up in the villages where there were no signs whatsoever!



Even when we came back to town most of the shops were ready to close for the afternoon prayer,but do you knnow what,I noticed that many didn't open anyway...well I know why,it was the heat,probably they don't open till evening when the weather is cool.
